Henry Lee Brock, 68, of Athens, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late H.A. and Ira Lowery Brock and was a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired machinist for Athens Products. He was preceded in death by one sister, Daisy Shipley; and four brothers, Johnny, Doyle, Clifford and Glenn Brock.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Geneva Harris Brock of Athens; one son, Michael Brock of Athens; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Kourtney Brock; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Howard and Lois Brock of Chattanooga, Claude Brock of Leesburg, Ga., and Fred and Melissa Brock of Riverview, Fla.; and one sister and brother-in-law, Myrtle and Richard Hanna of Alliance, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Rebecca Reed and the Rev. Bob Hamilton officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Cedar Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
