Teacher in the Etowah School System. Graduate of TWC. Retired from teaching in 1971. Member of Etowah First Baptist Church. Daughter of the late John Alexander and Ada Williams Tate; wife of the late Harry T. Reynolds. Raised by her uncle and aunt O.P. and Edna Johnson. Survivors: son, J. Robert Denton, Winter Park, Fla.; daughter, Mrs. David (Polly) Richman, Hartford City, Ind.; brother, Joe Tate; sisters, Kate Bachman, both of Akron Ohio, and Nina White, Englewood; four grand-children; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday. Bordwine Chapel, Rev. Jack Pennington officiating. Burial Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at Bordwine Funeral Home, Etowah."
