Dawn was the daughter of Carey Christopher Isaacs and Kristen (Kimberly) McDonald. She married Christopher Scott McMillian and had a daughter. She seems to have married a couple of more times with her last marriage to James R. Langford. At some point they divorced and Dawn moved to FL where she was murdered.

She left behind three children Tyler Simms, Nathan Hart and Madison McMillian. She also had a sister Lacey and a niece and a nephew.
