Lula Hill Pierce, Anneta Rt., Leitchfield, a retired school teacher (Grayson County Schools) passed away May 7, 1984 at the local hospital. / She was born December 13, 1896 in Grayson County, the daughter of Henry and Rose Higdon Hill and was married to Clarence Pierce all of whom preceded her in death. / She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church. / Survivors include three daughters, Nell Raber, Louisville, Audrey Durbin, Radcliff and Mildred Nunley, Elizabethtown; two sons, Harry Pierce, Louisville and Glenn Pierce, Leitchfield; one sister Geneva Terry, Louisville; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. / Services were held May 10, 1984 at St. Anthony Catholic Church by Rev. Joseph Miller with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home.
