Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle M. Greenwood who died Wednesday are scheduled at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Assembly of God Church at Third and Delaware. Mrs. Greenwood, 89, lived at 412 West Seminole. She was born Sept. 12, 1881 at Pulaski, Tenn., came to Pittsburg County 60 years ago and moved from Savanna to McAlester 35 years ago.
Her husband Phillip died in 1926.
Survivors include a daughter, Knola Mae Castle, Encino, Calif.; two sons, Elzie C. Greenwood, Eureka, Calif.; and Thurman Greenwood, Amlin, Ohio; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Dr. James Fleming will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Chambers Cemetery. Mills-Humphrey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
