FAYETTEVILLE - Marlow Lee McClain, 81, of Fayetteville died May 20, 2008, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 11, 1927, in Dripping Springs to Lym and Rosie Keeling McClain.
He was employed as a tree-cutter.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nina Joyce McClain; seven sisters, Gertie, Mertie, Geraldine, Waunetta, Erie, Carrie, Opal and two brothers, George and Marvin Dean.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharlene Batson of Fayetteville and Marlena Smith of Forum; a son, Tony McClain of Fayetteville; a sister, Jessie McKinney of Alaska; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Trinity Full Gospel Church in Springdale. Cremation arrangements are by Beard's Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Fayetteville.
