Calvin B. Eaves Is Interred At Ellison Ridge

Funeral services for Calvin Buckner (Buck) Eaves, 79, were held on September 6 at Ellison Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Rich and Rev. Glenn Davis officiating. Burial was in Ellison Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Harris-Westbrook Funeral Home.

Mr. Eaves died on September 4 at the Winston County Community Hosptial.

The deceased was the son of the late James Clinton Eaves and the late James Elizabeth Etheridge Eaves.

Mr. Eaves, a native of Winston County, was a retired farmer and a member of Ellison Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ruby C. Eaves of Louisville; two sons, Lamar Eaves of Louisville and Ted Eaves of Kennesaw, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Avenell Hill of Meridian; three brothers, Tom Eaves of Winona, Earl Eaves and Ran Eaves, both of Louisville; four sisters, Mrs. Rudolf Woodruff and Mrs. Herbert Sullivan, both of Louisville; Mrs. James Vaughn of Cherokee, Ala., and Mrs. Nannie McBrayer of Preston.

Ballbearers were Royce McBrayer, Chambliss Eaves, Jerry Eaves, Aubry Eaves, Johnny Eaves and Jim Majors.
