Professional Football Player. Marvin Allen Upshaw was an American football player who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He was drafted in the 1968 NFL draft in round one as pick number 21 by the Cleveland Browns as a defensive end from Trinity University. Besides his time with the Browns (1968–1969), he also played for the Kansas City Chiefs (1970-1975) and the St. Louis Cardinals (1975). In his nine-year career, he played in 99 total games. He was the younger brother of Hall of Fame NFL player Gene Upshaw.
