Services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jacklin, 56, Downers Grove, Ill., a former Shelbyville resident who died Saturday at the Fairfax Nursing Home in Downers Grove, will be held at the Ewing Mortuary here at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday with the Rev. William Cranford officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. Frinds amy call at the mortuary after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday until the hour of the funeral.
Survivors are the husband, Clarence Jacklin; her mother, Mrs. Harley (Hazel May) Ashton, Downers Grove; two sons, Lloyd Melvin Jacklin of Alaska and John E. Jacklin of Whitewater, Wis.; and two sisters. (Obit: The Shelbyville News, Oct 6, 1969)
