"CEDARTOWN - Herbert Chesley Liles, 76, 313 West Park Ave., Tallahassee, Fla., died Tuesday in Tallahassee.
Mr. Liles was born April 23, 1906.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Liles, Tallahassee, and Herbert Liles, Jr., Bradenton; one daughter, Mrs. David Ingle, San Diego; one brother, Ralph Liles, Douglasville, and three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Randolph and Mrs. Hugh Lumpkin, both of Rome, and Mrs. Seals Swafford, Cedartown.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Hudson officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery."

Herbert was the son of Robert Chesley Liles and Katie Starnes. He married Dora Bell Palmer on Christmas Eve in 1926.
