Brigadier General, Revolutionary War. Died at Turkey Flight Plantation, Beltsville, MD.∼Brigadier General Rezin Beall was elected Captain of the 1st Independent Maryland Company by the Convention of Maryland, January 2, 1776; station; stationed in Calvert and Charles Counties. He was wounded severely while in engagement with Lord Dunmores' fleet at St. George's Island in St. Mary's County on July 16, 1776. Elected Brigadier General of the Flying Camp of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, in which he served until December 1, 1776.
