George C. Riggs was the son of William and Mary Conley Riggs. On December 29, 1870, he married Mary Catherine Farquhar in Burnet County, Texas. They were the parents of six children. ( PVT COMPANY A, 8TH REGIMENT ALABAMA CAVALRY CSA )
