SPENCER — Pearl Louise (Koontz) Parker, age 75, of Spencer, died Sunday morning at the Owen Valley Health Care Campus.
Born February 14, 1932, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Alva and Maggie (Burch) Koontz.
She was a retired hotel worker where she had worked in the office and laundry. She loved reading.
She is survived by three daughters, Joan Parker and Sheila Bohall, both of Bloomington, and Patricia Parker, of Spencer; three sons, Kenneth Parker and Doug Parker, both of Ellettsville, and Wyatt Parker, of Bloomington; two sisters, Delia Gibbs, of Stanford and Mary Hartley, of Bloomington; eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Parker Jr.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon at the Day Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Glen Stidd officiating.
Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery at Harrods- burg.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m.
