1st Lt. Donald Bashaw died in an air transport crash along with my father, Capt. Raymond C. Stiles, and 20 others.
Those who died in the crash were first buried at a beautiful grave-site at Borenquin Field, P.R., and the caskets were exhumed after the war and returned to the families. I have pictures of the location at which they first came to rest, if anyone is interested.
If Mr. Bashaw has relatives who would like more information about the crash, they can contact me through Ancestry.com.
