Calvin C. Fancher, age 78 of Decatur, died July 28, 2003. He retired from the GA. Dept. of Transportation as a Field Engineer, was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran and a member of 5th Ave. Baptist Church in Decatur. Surviving are his daughter, Cindy Fancher of Snellville; sons, Greg Fancher of Tucker; Ron Fancher of Covington; and Dana Fancher of Woodstock; sister, Freda Williams of Birmingham; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock "c.s.t." Thursday, July 31 at Studdard's Crossroad Cemetery, Jasper, AL. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
