SALT LAKE CITY – Funeral services will be Saturday at l p.m. for Allen L. Jones, 64, of 5165 Gurene Dr., who died Thursday in a Murray hospital of a heart ailment.

A native of Heber City, he was born Oct 25, 1908 to Edward and Elizabeth Lindsay Jones. He married Lucy Wright Nov. 3, 1933 in Salt Lake City, and the marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was an employee of Egg Products Co. and he was a high priest in the Cottonwood Sixth LDS Ward.

Survivors include his widow, sons, Edward Allen Jones and Jack W. Jones, both of Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren, and a brother, Grant E. Jones, Heber City.

Services will be at Cottonwood LDS Stake Center, 5165 S. Highland Drive. Friends call at 4670 S. Highland Drive today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday at the stake center one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Heber City Cemetery.
