Four children - Ralph Oliver, Elmer Ellsworth, Edith Ione, and Floyd Vern.

Purley Bohler, a well known farmer living on the Auburn and Ashley road near Cedar Lake, died suddenly of a heart attack last Thursday morning. Mr. Bohler had been ill for about a month, but was stricken suddenly when he passed away at the age of 69 years. His wife died about 20 years ago.

Surviving are three sons and one daughter, the latter being the wife of Frank Morr of Ashley.

Purley Adrian Bohler, the son of John and Abigal Meese Bohler, was born on the present Bohler farm May 27, 1869 and died February 23, 1939 and was sixty-nine years, eight months and twenty-six days old.

In February 1890, Purley was united in marriage to Lizzie Wilhelm, who preceded him in death May 25, 1919.

To this union four children were born, Ralph, Elmer and Floyd who live in the old home and Mrs. Ione Morr of Ashley, Ind.

He was united with the Cedar Lake church about 1888 and was active a large share of his life.

With the exception of four years, his entire life was spent on the Bohler farm where he was born and died.

Besides his children he leaves one sister, Mrs. Ursula Clark of Mesick, Mich., and five grandchildren.
