Daughter of Curtis E. & Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Lantis) Spaugh of Manville, Wyoming.

Clara was the first white child born in the area that later became known as Manville.

She married a local rancher named Edward Claude "Ted" Eutsler and they remained in the area raising a large family of their own.

Mrs. Clara E. Eutsler, 64, widow of Edward Claude Eutsler and a former resident of Manville, died at a hospital in Thermopolis April 4.

Funeral services were held in Thermopolis April 8. Interment was in the Manville cemetery April 9 beside the body of her husband. Rev. Edward D. Poser, pastor of the Manville Community Church, conducted the graveside service.

Clara E. Eutsler, oldest daughter of Curt and Lizzie Spaugh, was born at Manville August 14, 1890. Her early life was spent in and around Manville.

November 22, 1908 she was married to Ted Eutsler and they lived for a number of years on their homestead three miles west of Manville. Here all their children were born.

When they sold the homestead they moved to Lance Creek, and in July, 1941, Mr. Eutsler died. A few years later Mrs. Eutsler went to live with her daughters in Riverton and Meeteetse. The past few years she has made a home for her son Charles at Worland.

Mrs. Eutsler is survived by nine children: Mrs. Marjorie Vroman, Edgerton; Mrs. Ida Whitman, Gillette; Anice Babcock, Worland; Mrs. Lizzie Moorman, Riverton; Charles and Earl, Worland; Addison and Len, Jersey City, N. J. A sister, Mrs. Ida Hilsman of Casper; an aunt, Mrs. Rosa Blair of Manville; and an uncle, Wm. P. Spaugh of California also survive, as well as a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
