Printed in The Erie Record in Erie, Kansas on October 9, 1908
Again the death angel has visited our midst and claimed little Fay Wikle as its own after a lingering illness of eight weeks. Fay was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Wikle, was twelve years old last June, departed this life October 2, 1908. Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Finch at the M. E. Church in Saint Paul Sunday, October 4; interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Fay was a most lovable little girl, was a member of the M. E. Sunday school at St. Paul, was loved by all who knew her. A large concourse followed the remains to its last resting place where beneath a bower of bloom she sleeps. Mr. and Mrs. Wikle have the sympathy of the whole community in this bereavement.
