Mrs. Frank J. Ranous
Mrs Isabelle Knopp Prior Ranous,
77, of 157 W. Third St., died
unexpectedly late Thursday afternoon
in Oswego Hospital. She was born in
Oswego, daughter of the late Joseph and
Mary Victoria Wilmot Knopp, Her first
husband, Frederick A. Prior died in
1948, She married Frank J. Ranous in 1954,
He died in 1967.
Mrs. Ranous was a communicant of St.Mary's
Catholic Church, also a member of Oswego
Citizens Club and American Legion auxiliary
of Minetto and Oswego.
Surviving are a son, Fred J. Prior, Oswego;
a daughter Mrs. R.R.(Mary)Schneider,
North Syracuse;a step-son,AL Ranous and
two step-daughters, Mrs. Ken(Mae)-
McKinstry and Mrs. James(Vivian)Dement.
11 grandchildren and four
great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday
at 8:30 am at P. J. Culiinan's Sons
Funeral Home and at 9 am. in St Mary's
Church. Burial will be in St Peter's Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral Home are
2-4 and 7-9, Saturday and Sunday.
Contributions may be made to the Heart Fund
or the American Cancer Society.
