Graydon's WWI Draft registration lists him as age 20, a Negro, living in Greenfield, MO working as a Chauffeur. His mother Mrs. Pearl Rutledge is his nearest relative.

Graydon, 36, a laborer, was living in Springfield, MO at the time of his death. His cause of death is hard to read. It looks like Hypertic Cirrhosis of the line (spine?). His mother Pearl is the informant on his MO Death Certificate, she and Graydon lived at 640 Weaver.

The following was gracefully submitted by Judy Young 03/19/2015 from an article in the Springfield News Leader, Saturday Morning edition, Nov. 2 1935 for Graydon Rutledge.

Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Greenfield Presbyterian church for Graydon Rutledge, 36, who died Tuesday. The Rev. J T Douglas, pastor of Gibson Chapel Presbyterian church here, will officiate and burial will be under direction of W. P. Campbell.
