Preceded in death by parents; brother, Frank W. Kinkead; and sisters, Rebecca Smeal & Ruth Varner. Survived by children: Staff Sgt. F. Michael Roach, married to former Sunny Hughes, with U.S. Army, Johnstown; and Jacquie Rucker, Indianapolis, Ind.; also five grandchildren, Jeff, with U.S. Navy, Alamenda, Calif.; Beth, Jennifer and Bradley, Johnstown; and Carmella, Indianapolis; and one great-granddaughter, Alexis, Johnstown. Sister of Louis Kinkead, Walnut Creek, Calif. Registered nurse for 25 years with VA Hospital, Altoona, and five years at former Cresson Sanatorium. 1st Lt. with Army Nurse Corps in World War II. Very Active with Trinity United Methodist Church, Patton and American Red Cross. Was on election board in Patton Borough, 2nd Ward. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., Patton. Friends also received from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Patton, Pastor Gary Grau, officiating. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Patton. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Patton American Legion and VFW. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Patton or American Red Cross.
