Willie M. Brooks died at his home at Jamestown on June 17 at the age of 85 years, 2 months, 17 days. He has been in poor health for a long time..Funral services were conducted at the Wolf River Methodist Church onf June 18 by Rev. Royal Wheaton, burial was in wolf Cemetery with Loopers & Qualls in charge. Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife Sarah Ann Crabtree Brooks; 9 children; Mrs. Allie Delk of Jamestown, Mrs. Lola Pile of Wolf River, Mrs. Maude Souders of Crossville (TN), Mrs. Ida Delk of Jamestown, Allen Brooks of Jamestown, Mrs. Helen Crouch of Somerset, KY, Mrs. Isabell Jennings of Wolf River, Delphia Leffew of Jamestown and Mrs. Dellon Clark of Jamestown. He also leaves 48 grandchildren and 109 g-grandchildren.
