Genevieve F. Hensley
Genevieve F. Hensley, 71, of Branson,
passed away Saturday, Jan. 28 at the
Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
Genevieve was born on Nov. 18, 1934,
in Kirbyville, Missouri.
She was the daughter
of Bryan and Argie (Hughey) Moore.
She married Charles Hensley
on Nov. 18, 1952, in Harrison, Ark.
This past winter they had celebrated
53 years together.
They were blessed with one son, Steve.
Genevieve was a lifelong resident of
Taney County. She owned and operated
the Grape Vine Dress Shop in Branson.
Genevieve was a member of the Eastern Star;
Freedom of the Road Riders;
and the Rocky Mtn. Elk Foundation.
She also enjoyed camping, fishing
and being with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
Bryan and Argie Moore; and two brothers,
Clovis and Quentin. Genevieve is
survived by her loving husband,
Charles Hensley, of the home; one son,
Steve Hensley, of Branson, Mo.;
two sisters, Barbara Collins, of Fair Grove, Mo.,
and Shirley Aubin, of Kirbyville, Mo.;
one brother, Orville Moore, of Rogersville, Mo.;
one grandson, Justin Hensley, of Las Vegas,
Nev.; and two great-grandchildren,
Ashley and Ayden Hensley. Funeral
services for Mrs. Hensley will be Wed.,
February 1, 2006,
at 1 p.m. in the
Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home,
Branson.
Burial will follow in the
Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
Visitation will be Tuesday night from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners
Hospitals for Crippled Children, 2001 S.
