Angela Stafford Dies April 6 at Paisley

Mrs. Angela Brattain Stafford, member of the pioneer Brattain family of Paisley, died at her home Tuesday, April 6, at the age of 51 years, 11 months and 28 days.

She was born at Paisley April 8, 1913, the daughter of Paul J. And Grace G. Mercer Brattain. She attended school at Springfield, Ore., and the University of Oregon. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Paisley and the Lake County Cow Belles.

Mrs. Stafford is survived by two brothers, Paul J. Brattain and Tom Brattain, both of Paisley; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Watson and Mrs. Maude Loose, both of Portland; three nephews, Paul E. Brattain, Tom D. Brattain, and Carl Sellen; and by two nieces, Susan Taylor and Marlene Haynes.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 12, from the Paisley Methodist Church with the Rev. Lester D. Boulden officiating and the Ousley-Osterman Mortuary directing. Interment was at the Paisley Cemetery. Pallbearers were Laurel Conley, Norman Banister, George Elder, Jeremiah O'Leary, Frank Ogburn, and John Branch.
