Louise Hepner Adams, 88, of Pomona Park, died Sunday, November 21, 1999, at Putnam Community Medical Center following an extended illness.
A native of Marseilles, Illinois, she had resided in Pomona Park for the past four years coming from Pahokee. She had owned and operated Adams Grocery in Pahokee for over 25 years. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Pahokee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel A. Adams and a son, John Adams.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Adams of Royal Palm Beach and Terry Adams of Loxahatchee; daughters, Sandra Prescott of Vero Beach, Karen Sloan of Gulf Hammock and Lois Kinsaul of Palatka; brothers, Russell Hepner of Marseillas, Illinois, and Earl Hepner of Aurora, Illinois; sister, June Hepner of Vista, California; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, 10 a.m. at the Canal Point Baptist Church in Canal Point, Florida. Burial will follow in Port Mayaca Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Glades Funeral Home in Bell Glades, Florida.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Florida, 3204 Crill Avenue, Palatka, FL 32177.
