Deloris Pearl Bennett
Deloris Pearl Bennett, 77, Shelbyville, died Saturday at Major Hospital.
Born on June 9, 1920, she was the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (Caldwell) Craig.
On Feb. 10, 1940, she married Charles E. Bennett, and he survives.
Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker and a member of the Beacon Baptist Church in Shelbyville.
Other survivors include two daughters, Carol Bennett, Shelbyville, and Linda Bennett, Orlando, Fla.; five sons, Danny Bennett and Ronnie Bennett, both of Columbus, Bobby Bennett, Blue Ridge, Rudolph Bennett, Fairland, and Norman Bennett, Seymour; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Murphy-Parks Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Beacon Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Richards officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Shelby County.
