Always a silent hurt, many a slient tear, but always a beautiful memory of the one I loved so dear. God gave me strength to bear it, and courage to take the blow, but what it meant to lose you one will ever know. LOVE YOU BABY, Your Wife, Cindy

Gary struggled with Lung cancer,Leukemia and numerous other illiness so hard for 12 years for life with his family. God said to Gary come home to Heaven my child and he was suddenly taken by a blood clot in his left leg which caused a heart attack. So often I think of you and what we did in our life and the pain is unbearing. The pain of leaving you at the cemetery you are the love of my life and I just can't go on without you. I have such wonderful memories of you and your life with our kids and grand kids. I know you are with the Lord and out of pain and you did it your way. I am blessed that when you were called your spriit did pass over me I guess you were telling me you were moving on but I didn't have a chance to hold your hand or tell you goodbye I learn for the day you will come for me.

We have had another grandson born October 19, 2009 Marcus Gregory Ferrier. I know you are still walking at my side with me because I need you, miss you and love you.

When I'm Gone When I come to the end of my journey and I travel my last weary mile, just forget if you can that I ever frowned and remember only the smile. Remember some good that I have done, forget that I ever had heartache and remember that I've had loads of fun. Forget that I've stumbled and blundered and sometimes fell by the way. Remember I have fought some hard battles and won ere the close of the day. Then forget to grieve for my going, I would not have you sad for a day, but in summer just gather some flowers, and remember the place where I lay, and come in the shade of the evening, when the sun paints the sky in the west, Stand for a few moments beside me, And remember only my best. May 18, 2009, Our PaPa, Gary E. Ward, Sr. It is One year since our Papa went to Heaven with the Lord. We had a service at the cemetery in honor of Papa and we let white balloons go with his name and dates inside of the balloons the balloons went to heaven to be with PaPa. We miss him everyday because he was such a kind, humerous and humble man that would always take the time to make all of us feel special in his life. PaPa was always proud of us, PaPa always smiled and made us laugh. Thank you for all the kind people that have visited PaPa's Memorial and left tokens for him. This is very special to all of us.
Whispers from Heaven

They say that life is fleeting
I know that this is true
I left this world so quickly
With no goodbye to you.

I know how much you miss me
Your tears fall ever light
The pillow where you lay your head
Is wet with them at night.

I know your heart is hurting
The words we left, unsaid
I love you's, left unspoken
Are spinning in your head.

The strength that I have carried
That served to make you whole
Remains to make you stronger
Within your grieving soul.

For you see, while you were weeping
On the day I passed away
At the gravesite near the flowers
Where my loved ones knelt to pray.

An angel came to see me
She took me by the hand
She led me to a kingdom
In a very distant land.

As I look down from heaven
And see you standing there
Your heart so ever burdened
With more grief than it can bear.

I long to bring you comfort
I long to give you peace
I long to hold you closely
Cause all your tears to cease.

The joy I've found in heaven
Goes far beyond compare
The love that's so elusive
Can be found here everywhere.

The light is softly shining
There's no storm clouds here or rain
There's no teardrops found in heaven
There's no suffering, there's no pain.

You needn't be so troubled
Stay close to God and pray
That someday we'll be together
One bright and glorious day.

So my love, you shouldn't question
My dear you need not cry
I've gone to be with Jesus
I really didn't die.
A Letter from Heaven

To My Dearest Family;
Here's some things I'd like to say,
but first of all to let you know
that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from Heaven
where I dwell with God above,
where there's no more tears,
or sadness, there is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
just because I am out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and he said "I welcome you"!
It's good to have you back again
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
they'll be here later on.
I need you here so badly,
as part of My big plan.
There is so much we have to do
to help our mortal man.
Then God gave me a list of things,
he wished for me to do.
And foremost on that list of mine
is to watch and care for you.
I will always be beside you
every day and week and year.
And when your sad,
I'm standing there
to wipe away the tear.
And when you lie in bed at night
the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth
and all those loving years,
because you're only human
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry
it does relieve the pain.
Remember, there would be no flowers
unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
of all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you,
you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain
though my life on Earth is over,
I am closer to you now
than I ever was before.
And to my very many friends,
trust God knows what is best.
I'm still not far away from you,
I'm just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb,
but together we can do it
taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
and I'd like it for you too,
that as you gave unto the world,
so the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
who is in sorrow or in pain.
Then you can say to God at night,
my day was not in vain.
And now I am contented
that my life. . . it was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way,
I made somebody smile.
So if you meet someone
who is down and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up
as on your way you go
When you are walking
down the street,
and I am on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind.
And when you feel the gentle breeze
as the wind upon your face,
that's me giving you a great big hug,
or just a soft embrace.
And when it's time for you to go
from that body to be free.
Remember. . . you're not going,
you are coming here to me.
And I will always love you,
from that land way up above,
We'll be in touch again soon.

PS: God sends His love.

With All My Love,

Family Members

In God's Hand Our Love will always shine upon you. This is on the back of the headstone for our kids and grandkids so they would always know we Love them.
On the bench seat
Crusin Together Forever,Because we thought we would be together forever.
Eternally Yours, Is what Gary had engraved on the inside of Cynthia's engagement ring.
Love You Baby! Is what Cynthia would always say to Gary.
The above treasures are now being shared with the children and grand children.

You never said you were leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why
A million times I needed you
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly and in
Death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That know one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home
" Unknown"

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you & whispered come with me. Although I loved you dearly I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best.

Oh, please don't feel guilty
It was just my time to go.
I see you are still feeling sad,
And the tears just seem to flow.
We all come to earth for our lifetime,
And for some it's not many years
I don't want you to keep crying
You are shedding so many tears.
I haven't really left you
Even though it may seem so.
I have just gone to my heavenly home,
And I'm closer to you than you know.
Just believe that when you say
my name, I'm standing next to you,
I know you long to see me,
But there's nothing I can do.
But I'll still send you messages
And hope you understand,
That when your time comes to
"cross over," I'll be there
to take your hand.
Love you your husband, Dad and Papa
