Herman A. Frazier Jr., 77, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999, in Gulfport.

Mr. Frazier, a native of Liberty, MS, and a graduate of Liberty High School, had been a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. He worked at Keesler Air Force Base as a radar technician for over 30 years and received numerous recognitions for his performance. Mr. Frazier coached Little League Baseball for several years, and was a deacon at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Gulfport.

Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Itasca Frazier; and a sister, Melba Foley.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Dickerson Frazier of Gulfport; two sons, Herman Mack Frazier and his wife, Hilda, of Jayess, MS, and Billy J. Frazier and his wife, Jo Ellen, of Gulfport; a daughter, Vickie Breland and her husband, Dr. Burnis Breland of Midland, GA; seven grandchildren, Jason Frazier and wife, Kristi, Aaron Frazier, Alana Frazier, Adam Frazier, Daniel Breland, Rebecca Breland, and Joseph Breland; and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Rachel Frazier.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Dec. 8, at the Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue in Gulfport. Mr. Frazier will be sent to Catchings Funeral Home in McComb where visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Union Baptist Church in Ruth, MS, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
