Mary Ann (Hogenmiller) Brown, 70, of Kittanning died Monday, July 18, 2005 at her home. She was born Aug. 22, 1934, in Washington Township to Earl and Blanche (Toy) Hogenmiller. Mrs. Brown was a licensed practical nurse for over 50 years, working for Fair's Rest Home in Applewood and Pry's Home Inc. until her retirement. Survivors include her son, James F. Brown and wife, Georgia , of Tennessee; daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Corinna) McDowell of Adrian; seven grandchildren, Mrs. William (Deborah) Bouch of Kittanning, Jessica R., Cecil C. II, Peggy L. McDowell, Timothy and Wesley Brown, both of Tennessee, and Jennifer Smith of Marian Center; a great-granddaughter, Serena Maria Shotts; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Stanford of New Jersey; friend and companion, James E. McDowell of Kittanning; former daughter-in-law, Wanda Brown of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50-years marriage who died August 23, 2004, James T.; two infant daughters, Penny Lu and Sandra Ann; a sister, Barbara Bowers; and three brothers, William, Robert and Frank Hogenmiller. Visitation will be tonight from 7-9 and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in St. Marks Lutheran Church, Adrian, with the Rev. Arlyn Eisenbrandt officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Cemetery, Adrian. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Mark Lutheran Church Pavilion Fund.
