Leland Owen Woodruff, 76, died on December 30, 1983, at the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden following surgery.

He was born on August 30, 1907 in Tremonton, Utah, to Marion and Bertha Jensen Woodruff.

He married Eliza Lundberg on November 23, 1931 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on March 17, 1936.

He had been a High Priest in the Tremonton Fourth LDS Ward, past District Explorer Leader, member of the Elders Quorum Presidency, member of the Sunday School Presidency and Home Teacher.

He had owned and operated a farm in Tremonton, Utah. He was active in the Farm Bureau. He was a State Delegate for the Democratic Party.

Surviving are his wife, Tremonton, Utah; three sons and one daughter, Dale M Woodruff and Colleen Wood, both of Tremonton, Utah; Ivan L Woodruff, Brigham City, Utah; and Gary Woodruff, Alpine, Utah; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother and two sisters, Elmer Dewey Woodruff, Tremonton, Utah; Mrs Frank (Rosa) Braimard, Porterville, California; and Mrs Iva Madsen, Deweyville, Utah.

Burial was held in the Elwood Cemetery, Elwood, Utah.
