ANNE E. HANNA, 79, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Lima, died Jan. 2, 2000, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 7,1920, in Tiffin to Howard W and Clara Bork Pennell. On Nov. 19, 1949, she married Frank Hanna, who died June 15, 1999.

Mrs Hanna retired as a teacher from the Lima schools and had been a director at St. Rita's School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church Lima, and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Naples, Fla. She was a member of Catholic Women's College Club and the Westside Swim and Racquet Club. She was a graduate of Heidleburg College, Tiffin, and the University of Dayton.

Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth R. Dale of Delaware, Ohio, Patricia S. (Larry) Gross of Lima, Mary M. (Richard) Dailey of Dublin and Amy E (Matthew) Tewers of Northwood. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Catherine "Katie" and Judith Anne "Judy" Hanna.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Catholic Church. The Rev., Mike Dandurand will officiate. Burial will be in Gethaemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp-Rousculp Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Home; the Little Sisters of the Poor, Oregon, Ohio; St. Charles Catholic Church or St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Building Naples, Fla.
