John Barnes Greer died at his home near Harriman early Saturday morning (October 9) at the age of 67, he is survived by his widow,Florence Crabtree; two sons Delmer of Oakdale; Dan of Harriman; one daughter, Mrs. Debbie Mae Green of Harriman; four brothers and one sister, 11 grandchildren, 2 g-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from Frogg Chapel in Fentress County with Revs. Enoch Howard and Lester Todd officating; Schuberts in charge.
