Alvin Hall Gaither, 72, a resident of Clarksville, died at Montgomery General Hospital, August 25. A native of the County, born in Fulton, he was the son of the late Evan and Carrie Gaither. Surviving him are his widow, Mary Scrivnor Gaither; a daughter, Eleanor Jane Hill of Dayton; sons, William Alvin and Robert Lee Gaither, both of Highland. There are three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at Slack Funeral Home, Ellicott City, August 28. Interment is in St. Mark's Cemetery, Highland.
