Aaron Peck, son of Joseph and Rebecca Shepherd Peck, lived first in Newtown, Connecticut then removed to Sandgate, Vermont after 1780. He married Deborah ?? about 1752. Deborah was born about 1736 and died February 13, 1804 in Sandgate. During the French and Indian Wars, Aaron served in Captain Barnum's company of militia during the campaign in 1757. His company was one of the fourteen raised to help in the relief of fort William Henry in Lake George, New York which was captured by the French in August of that year. He then served in Captain Tomlinson's 6th company during the campaign of 1759. Aaron took his oath as a freeman, as did his father before him, in 1756. The first sign of Aaron Peck in Sandgate was recorded in June of 1786 with the sale of 50 acres of land to Daniel Tarrel of Camden, New York for the sum of 20 pounds.

Their children were:

Joshua Peck of Jay, NY

Rebecca Peck Newtown, CT

Violet Peck, Newtown, CT

Elias Peck(Patience Sanford) of Shandaken, NY

Adoniram Peck, Newtown, CT

Joel Peck, Sandgate, VT

Andrew Peck, Newtown, CT

Susannah Peck (John Clark), Danby, VT

The exact date of Aaron's death is not known. I am listing him here with his wife where he is probably buried in an unmarked grave.
