Born September 1, 1933, in Williamsburg County, SC, he was a son of the late George Dewey and Bertha Mae McClary Rodgers.
Mr. Rodgers attended Williamsburg County schools and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was the retired owner of Andrew Rodgers Plumbing Co. and a member of Beulah United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Lynn Hanna Rodgers; daughter, Ondra LaJuan Rodgers Hanna and husband Robert C. Bert Hanna, II, of Kingstree; a granddaughter; sister, Florence D. Rodgers of Kingstree; brother, G. Shadrick Rodgers of Kingstree; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Rodgers Ward and Dianne Rodgers Crosland.
