A funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 16603 N.E. 142nd Ave., Brush Prairie for Jane Janet Komm, who died in Battle Ground on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000. She was 85.
Today the casket will be open from 2 to 5:30 at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground and from from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church.
Her husband, Edwin G., died in 1991, and a son, David, died in 1995.
Mrs. Komm, a homemaker, was born Jan. 9, 1915, in Bozeman, Mont., and lived in Clark County the past 36 years. Her maiden name was Beld.
Survivors include one son, Robert of Battle Ground; one sister, Bertha Kysar of Battle Ground; and two brothers, Henry "Hank" Beld of Bryant, S.D. and John "Harmy" Beld of Sheridan, Wyo.
Mrs. Komm was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and visiting with friends.
Burial will be in Elim Cemetery in Brush Prairie.
