Passed Away at Her Home on Fourth Street Yesterday.

Miss Sallie P. Burgwin died at her home, No. 323 South Fourth street yesterday. She had been sick for several weeks and the end was not unexpected. The deceased was 80 years of age.
Miss Burgwin was born at The Hermitage, which is near this city and is the old home of the Burgwin family. She was the last surviving child of the late George Burgwin and Maria Nash Burgwin.
The funeral was to have been held this afternoon, but was postponed until a nephew of the deceased, Mr. George C. Burgwin, of Pittsburg, Pa., could reach the city. He is expected to reach here on Monday morning.
The funeral will be conducted Monday at 12 o'clock from St. James' Episcopal church by the Rev. R. W. Hogue and the interment will be in Oakdale cemetery.
