The Whitney's were residing at 124 E. Irving Avenue and both Arthur and John are listed as piano salesmen and dealers. The Whitneys were living in Ishpeming, Marquette, MI, where John is listed as a piano salesman. Between 1915 and 1920, John H. Whitney returned to Oshkosh for a visit. He brought with him a panoramic camera. He took over 60 images in Oshkosh, Neenah and Menasha. Most of the series of images document Oshkosh's industry, public buildings, residences, streets, parks and monuments. Many of the original prints survive in the archives of the Oshkosh Public Museum.
