JOHNSTON - West Daniel Rodgers, 85, died Friday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hasting Franklin, after several years of declining health.
Mr. Rodgers was a member of Eureka Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his daughter, are a son, Homer Lee Rodgers of Trenton; three sisters, Lillie Turner of Belvedere, Mrs. Bettyy Abney of Calhoun Falls and Mrs. Mamie Hatcher of Johnston; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Philippi Baptist Church Sunday at 3:30 p. m. by the Rev. Ralph V. McKinney.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body is at the home of his daughter.
