WEST POINT Davis County- Adolph Sherman Anderson, 48, died today at three a.m. at the family residence in West Point after a short i;;ness.
Mr. Anderson was born Aug. 21, 1902, in Peterson, Morgan county, a son of Adolph B. and Annie M. Farrow Anderson. When he was a child the family moved to Burch Creek where he resided until his marriage. On Oct. 7, 1927, he married Ruth E. Hess, in Ogden where they resided until 1947. At that time, the family moved to West Point.
While residing in Ogden, he was a fireman for the Southern Pacific railroad. Since living in West Point, he had been a farmer. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers No. 98, and a member of the L.D.S. West Point ward.
Surviving are his widow, one son Eugene Anderson, St. Anthony, Ida.; three grandchildren, the following brothers and sisters; Clarence Anderson and Mrs. Josephine Nadell, Ogden; Albert Anderson, Uintah; Mrs. Franze (Myrtle) Fowers, Hooper; Mrs. D. E. (Ruth) Everetts, Grandview, Wash.; Mrs. Martha Lindsey, Whittier, Calif.
The body is at the mortuary, 3408 Washington.
