The Young family lived in Park City many years and moved to Billings in 1926, where he was a deputy sheriff. Mr. Young was always interested in farming and raising stock. He was an eye witness to the famous Canyon Creek battle between the Nez Perce Indians and the American soldiers.
Mr. and Mrs. Young were the parents of three daughters: Carol and Alice, deceased and Mildred and four sons, Frank, Keith, Forest and Herbert.
Mr. Young died at the age of 87 at the home of a son, Forest, Jr., of Chicago, Illinois. In keeping with his wishes, the ashes of Mr. Young were scattered from an airplane over Young's Point between Columbus and Park City.—J. W.
