Judith Ann (Walt) Hortel (9/18/1947 - 10/15/2022) Chillicothe, Ohio
What an awesome gift and what an incredible journey that life is. Judy finished the earthly portion of this journey and passed peacefully on into eternal life after an extended bout with Parkinson disease. She will be sorely missed by her children and her husband, John of 53 years who will continue his earthly trek until by the amazing grace and unmerited mercy of a loving God will one day join her. On the WALT and LUTZ sides of the family, over the years Judy kept in touch with her cousins. Her devotion and love for them as well as the memories of their time together as children was and is very special.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Flossie (Lutz) Walt.
We would also like to acknowledge the incredible Adena Hospice team. You guys are truly God's earthly 'Angles of Light'. Also of note are the aides and personnel from the National Church Residency. Memorial contributions can be made in Judy's name to one (or more) of the following: Brookside Church, the local chapter of Child Evangelism (Jesus said - suffer not the little children to come unto Me), the Ross County Christian Academy and also the Gideon's International.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
