Arthur Roland "Art" Davis 3rd, 50, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at his residence.
Formaly of Salem, South Carolina, Mr. Davis was the son of the late Arthur Roland Davis Jr. and Lillian Eulena Calloway Davis. He was a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College with a bachelor of science degree in business and a graduate of Central Michigan University, where he received a master's degree in business. Art was a member of the Cathedral of St. Episcopal in Atlanta, an avid runner and volunteer at the Tamassee DAR School.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was predeceased by brother, Robert Davis.
Mr. Davis is survived by brothers, James Davis and wife Pam, of Pickens, S.C.,David Davis; sisters, Robin Guard and husband Paul, of Cape Coral, Fla., Marie Baxter, Mountain Rest, S.C., Teresa Rogers and husband, Scott, Salem, S.C., Carolyn Shepard and husband, Richard of Cape Coral; several nieces and nephews; and closest and dearest friend, Stephan Walker, Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, May 4, 2008, at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, Highlands, N.C.
Burial will follow in Buckcreek Baptist Church Cemetery, Highlands, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m today, May 4, 2008, prior to the service at the church.
