Our kind, sweet, loving mother, Anna Nadine Turnbow, 90 years old, passed away in her sleep early on Saturday morning, January 5, 2019. Born on April 4, 1928 in Tooele, Utah to parents Gilbert and Evelyn Murray. Nadine married Kenneth Turnbow in 1943 with whom she had four children, Kenneth, Steven, Suzanne and Kim. Nadine later had another son, Michael Cunningham. Nadine was a lifetime parent and homemaker who opened her home and her life to everyone. For a period of time, Nadine worked at East Elementary in Tooele. For many years, Nadine enjoyed making holiday meals for her growing family, never complaining, just faithfully producing a hearty meal for all who came to her home. A lifetime member of the LDS Church, Nadine enjoyed participating in the Red Hat Society. Nadine will be remembered as a wonderful story teller who enjoyed sharing memories of her long life. Nadine will be particularly remembered for giving the best back tickles while entertaining her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at sleepovers. Nadine greatly enjoyed traveling, including trips to Yellowstone, San Francisco, New York, Texas, and cruising the Caribbean. Nadine is survived by her children Kenneth, Suzanne, Kim and Michael. Nadine left a legacy of 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. In passing, Nadine has rejoined her parents, her husband Kenneth, her son Steven, her brothers Wayne and Daryl, and her sisters Donna, Devetta and Joyce. Our mother will be missed by countless people whose lives she touched. Nadine is survived by her beloved pet cat "Maggie." Nadine was joyously met at the Rainbow Bridge by "Cricket" her three-legged cat and her faithful pug dog "Max" and many other animals who shared her life and love over the years. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, UT. Interment in Tooele City Cemetery will be arranged in the future.
