ALTON M. ANDERSEN, 35 SHERIDAN — Alton M. Andersen, 35, 704 Pearl St., Greenville, died Sunday at United Memorial Hospital following a two week illness. Born in Sidney Township, June 23, 1924, Mr. Andersen was a member of Greenville Lodge No. 96, F&AM, and the American Legion. On May 7, 1946, he was married to Frances Murra of Blanchard, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Diana and Reita, and one son, Ray; his father, Herman Andersen, rural Sheridan, and mother, Mrs. J. R. Studley, Winchester, IN. Other survivors are two stepbrothers, Dale and Elton Crawford, Greenville, and a step sister, Mrs. Julia Bailey, R3, Rockford. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Stebbins Funeral Home. Burial will in South Sidney Cemetery.
