The reason I am adding John's obit is to show that Minnie Randolph was his second wife and not the mother of his children.

Funeral Services September 22 in the Harrell Memorial Chapel for John Marcus Maiell who died September 21 in his home on Route 1 Dublin at the age of 77. He had made his home in Dublin for the past 61 years and was a General Contractor (masonry) at the time of his death. Officiating the services was Bro. E.H. Benningfield.

He was born June 29, 1895 in New Orleans, Lousiana to William M. Maikell and Susie M> Nelson Maikell. In 1914 He married Mable Lillian Weems an five children war born to this union. His wife and one son preceded him in death. He married to Minnie Randolph Maikell and was amembe of the Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include his wife , Minnie of Dublin: four sons Elgin of Kermit: Jack of Fort Worth: Loyd and C. W. both of Dublin. One brother William of Ft. Worth.
