Mrs. Yniestra Passes Away
Aged Resident of Pensacola, Who Numbered Her Friends by the Hundred, Expires After Long Illness- Funeral This Morning.
Sincere sorrow will be felt throughout the city at the news of the death of Mrs. A. E. Yniestra, who passed quitely away Wednesday morning at 6:30, at ther home on North Spring street.
Mrs. Yniestra had been in failing health for a number of years. Her death was not unexpected, and came as blessed relief from suffering. The funeral services will take place this morning from St. Michael's church, at eleven o'clock, with interment in St. Michael's cemetery. Following are the pall-bearers. Dr. J. H. D'Alemberte, Messrs. John Price, W. B. Wright P. A. Hyer, C. E. Dobson, and Messrs. Mitchell, Rawlins, Ewing.
Mrs. Yniestra was seventy-two years old at the time of her death. She was married fifty-three years ago to Moses Gale Yniestra, and the following children survive her: Mrs. Laura Fontaine, who is now ill in a sanitarium in Montgomery; Mrs. R. F. Jones of Columbus, Ga., who arrived this morning; Mrs. G. W. Swinburne, of East Orange, New Jersey; Mrs. F. W. Farquar, of Mt. Vernon, New York; Mrs. R. L. Milette, of Texas; Mrs. E. S. Cravens, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Misses Bessie and Allie Yniestra, and Mr. W. B. Yniestra, of Pensacola. Mrs. R. F. Bradley of Columbus, Ga., a granddaughter, arrived yesterday.
Mrs. Yniestra was a member of one of Pensacola's old families, long prominent in the history of the city and section, and there will be much sorrow occasioned by her death.
