Rosa Mary Ford Hart, age 78, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in Danville AL on December 16, 2020 with her family by her side. She was a native of Cheneyville LA.


Rosa was married to the love of her life for 59 years on December 24, 1961. She was an accomplished homemaker. She had an amazingly creative talent and often gifted her friends with personal things she made. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays and had a passion for collecting Ragdolls. She was a loyal friend to many and could be fiery and outspoken. Most of all, she was devoted to her husband and their 2 children.


Rosa is survived by her loving husband, Cecil (C.D.) Dillard Hart; a son, Mark S. Hart and his partner Karen LeClere of Danville AL; a daughter, Cecil DeAnn Hart and her partner William Z. Rolls of Denham Springs LA; two grandchildren, Jack Hart and Lucas Hart of Danville AL; and a brother William Henry Ford III of Cheneyville LA.


Rosa was preceded in death by her father William Henry Ford Jr. and her mother Edith Reeves Ford.


A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 @ 10:00 a.m., at Haas Memorial United Methodist Church, 210 W. Church St., Bunkie LA 71322.
