Lloyd Monroe Boyd, terminal manager for Central and Southern Trucking Co. of Shreveport, died there Thursday, March 3, at 10 p.m. He was a veteran of World War II.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church near Jena with the Rev. Bernard Higgins, the Rev. P. A. (Fox) Paul and the Rev. Russell Neal officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Shreveport and Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include Mr. Boyd's widow, Mrs. Maxine Sheppard Boyd of Shreveport; one daughter, Miss Bobbie Kay Boyd of Shreveport; two stepdaughters, Miss Denise Sheppard and Miss Donna Sheppard, both of Shreveport; two stepsons, Richard Sheppard and Steve Sheppard, both of Shreveport; his mother, Mrs. C. J. Boyd of Jena; five brothers, Rollo Boyd and L. W. Boyd, both of Natchez, Miss., Bruce Boyd of Jackson, Miss., Earcel Boyd of Ferriday and Ollie W. Boyd of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. E. A. Hinson of Fenwick, Miss., Mrs. James Arntson of Shreveport, Mrs. Milton Neal and Mrs. Wallace Cowart, both of Jena.

Pallbearers were J. D. Hinson, G. H. Hinson, L. G. Hinson, M. J. Boyd, S. C. Boyd and E. M. Boyd, Jr.
